2020 B.A.M. Promotions Street Stock Battle Royale September 17th, 18th, & 19th Full Race Results

Brandon White of Stanley, North Carolina captured the victory in the 2020 B.A.M. Promotions Street Stock Battle Royale September 17th, 18th, & 19th at Carolina Speedway located in Gastonia, North Carolina worth $10,000.

The 2nd Annual $10,000 to win B.A.M. Street Stock Battle Royale is in the history books. This year's version would see Brandon White go on to collect one of the biggest paydays of his racing career by picking up the victory this past Saturday night in the 60 lap featured event at 'The Action Track,' Carolina Speedway.

White would take the lead from Colt Gilliam from the drop of the green flag and would not relinquish the lead for the remainder of the race. Gilliam who came into the race with one of the fastest cars, was on the strategy of riding out the first part of the race, conserving tires and equipment. This strategy would cause Gilliam to fall back some in the early portions of the race. During the opening 21 lap run, White would stretch his lead on the others, while battling through lap traffic. The first caution would ultimately fly on lap 22, bunching the field together just before the half-way break. On the restart, White would once again pull away and stretch his lead until the half-way caution.

Once the race resumed after the half-way break, it was all White again, picking up where he left off. The battle for second through fifth would rage on all during the second half of the race seeing Timbo Mangum, Colt Gilliam, Andy Blackwood, Blake Pryor, and Andy Stewart all changing positions on every other lap. The final caution would come out with 10 laps to go, providing a 10 lap shootout for ten grand. On the restart, front runners of Mangum, Blackwood, Pryor, and Stewart would experience problems that would lead to all of them ultimately end their night's just laps shy of the full distance. On the second restart, White would once again jump out like he had all night long and lead the final ten laps, picking up the dub and pocketing $10,000. After riding out the first portion of the race, Colt Gilliam would finish second while David Lucas, Hank Taylor, and Andrew Baker rounded out the top-five.

The winner's #26W of Brandon White is powered by Sellers Auto Machine and is sponsored by Fatbacks Race Parts, Jim at Heintz, Hornes Towing, Ms. D's Auto Service, B&B Stucco, and Fatdaddy Baggers.

Completing the top ten were Josh Wilkerson, Josh Langley, Brandy Baker, Timmy Smith, and Bailey Loftin.

2020 B.A.M. Promotions Street Stock Battle Royale Update

2020 B.A.M. Promotions Street Stock Battle Royale and support division drivers. Update about this weekends race.

Carolina Speedway owner Bruce Aarants has brought in extra equipment for the weekend to get prepared. We all know Thursday nights practice will be cancelled due to the rain from tropical storm Sally. As of right now, the races for Friday night and Saturday night are set on go. The Carolina Speedway staff will be hard at work to get the regular schedule to take place. If for some reason the staff can not get the track ready for Friday night then the back up plan is for Saturday and Sunday.

Just keep an eye on the Carolina Speedway Facebook page for more updates about this weekend.

2020 B.A.M. Promotions Street Stock Battle Royale September 17th, 18th, & 19th Paying $10,000 To Win

The biggest Street Stock race in the Carolina's, the 2nd Annual $10,000 to win B.A.M. Promotions Street Stock Battle Royale, is set commence at the "Action Track" Carolina Speedway on September 17, 18, 19.

Last year, we saw forty-seven of the baddest Street Stocks from around the region battle it out around the 4/10th mile "Action Track" for sixty grueling laps. This year should be no different, as it will be even bigger and better than last year. This year will feature a new purse structure that will see $300 to start, with more money spread thru the field. Plus, the new addition of the $500 bonus for the fastest practice time on Thursday. The field for the main event will be set similar to last year, seeing 22 cars getting in through heat races and last chance races. The longest haul gets one provisional and the winner (or highest finishing car) of the 'BAM Street Stock' qualifier race (Colt Gilliam) getting the other provisional. Also, like last year the winner of the non-qualifier race will have the option of collecting $500 for the win or starting shotgun on the field for the $10,000 to win main event.

Along with the BAM Street Stocks, you'll also see these support divisions for the big weekend.

Friday: Lightning Late Models, Hornets, and Pro 4

Saturday: Thunder Bomber, Extreme 4, and Enduro ($1,000 To Win, 2-$500, 3-$250, 4-$125, 5-$100)

Who's Ready For The 2nd Annual B.A.M. Promotions Street Stock Battle Royale

Who's ready for the 2nd Annual $10,000 to win B.A.M. Promotions Street Stock Battle Royale next weekend at "The Action Track" Carolina Speedway?

The inaugural B.A.M. Promotions Street Stock Battle Royale had it all, seeing action, excitement, and drama. The battle between Josh Langley and Andy Stewart for the lead throughout the early part of the race was exciting until Stewart experienced mechanical problems. We also saw drama in the form of Josh Langley going on to lead all the laps, only to come up four pounds light at the scales in a true 'Bloomquist like' moment. Bubba Sutton would be the ultimate benefactor for the Langley misfortune. Sutton finished 2nd in the event after overcoming his own adversity of having to rally back through the field of twenty-four cars due to an early flat tire. Bubba Sutton would ultimately go on to collect the $10,000 payday and notched his name in the history books as the winner.

2020 has been crazy at times, so let's see what the 2020 edition will hold next weekend in the 2nd Annual $10,000 to win B.A.M. Promotions Street Stock Battle Royale at the "The Action Track" Carolina Speedway, September 17, 18, 19.

What do you think will happen? Who do you think will take home the $10,000 payday and write their name in the history books as the winner of the biggest Street Stock race in the Carolina's?
